Renowned for-profit hospital system is seeking a Lab Manager for an acute-care facility in Longview, TX. This position will report to a head of a unit/department.
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Plan and implement the overall laboratory policies, procedures, and services for a unit and/or shift
• Ensure efficient and effective departmental operations, including department quality control and compliance adherence
• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Perform a variety of tasks 
• Lead and direct the work of others 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
