Investment Operations Analyst – Mount Yale Capital Group

Mount Yale Capital Group, LLC ("Mount Yale") was founded in 1999 and together with its affiliates manages approximately $3.2 billion in assets for institutional and private clients worldwide. We focus on delivering diversified multi-manager solutions using a variety of investment strategies and investment vehicles for our institutional and high net worth clients. Our affiliate is a family of liquid alternative mutual funds.

The Investment Operations Analyst serves as the primary contact for internal and third-party data requests. This role will assist in data collection, data management, and reporting for the firm’s investment products and strategies. In addition, the Investment Operations Analyst will assist advisors and portfolio managers in financial plan construction, strategy communication, and general client support. This role reports directly to the Investment Analyst and completes ad hoc projects including, but not limited to, updating fund marketing materials and assisting in fund administration.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in financial services industry, preferably with investment operations focus
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment operations
• Ability to organize individual workload and expected production schedule in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Proven written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients
• Intermediate-level experience Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Publisher, is required
• Experience with Salesforce and investment data technology such as Orion or Envestnet, and financial planning systems such as MoneyGuide or eMoney is preferred

Job Description/Duties:

• Drive data collection processes and develop technical due diligence reports
• Works with third-party investment managers, including collaborating on due diligence questionnaires for both internal and external due diligence parties
• Supports advisors in data collection for financial plan development
• Assist both internal and external parties during periodic reviews of processes and data
• Validation and reporting on the monthly and periodic returns for the firm’s investment strategies
• Participates in conference calls and in-person meetings with investment managers and other investment-related platform providers
