Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) (IT) will be responsible for managing project schedules and metrics for various technology and clinical application projects. They will coordinate with leadership and stakeholders across multiple functional domains as well as third party vendors to understand business needs, timeline constraints and final objectives. The PM will manage projects for third party application upgrades, server replacements and the management of new build/construction projects and upgrading of existing infrastructure. Projects will include gathering requirements from stakeholders, coordinating vendors and overseeing deployment. The ideal candidate is well rounded with a background in application deployment, network deployment, communications, desktop and office equipment (IT related) deployment and overall general knowledge of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will also have worked as a Project Manager in a Healthcare environment in the past.

Responsibilities:
Education Required
  • Must complete in-house orientation program
  • High School Diploma required, college degree preferred
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
Experience And Skills
  • Speaks, reads and writes English
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in application and network deployment
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience in project risk management
  • Exceptional communications skills, verbal and written
  • Must work independently and as a member of team
  • Experience in Healthcare very beneficial
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations
  • Good organizational skills
  • Used a Project Management Tracking Application
  • Ability to understand budgets and tracking projects to a specific budget
