RN Nurse Manager ICU/CCU (Days)

As our Nurse Manager, you will provide and integrate clinical leadership and management of a designated unit of patient care on a 24-hour basis, consistent with the philosophy and goals of the institution, patient care service department, and clinical service;
We require:
· Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (A degree in nursing is required)
· Current and valid New York State registration authorizing practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
· Bachelor’s degree and/or Graduate degree; A Master’s Degree is preferred
· Minimum 3 years critical care RN experience
· Excellent English verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
· Computer proficiency (MS Office)
· Highly developed skills in leadership, public relations, teambuilding, problem solving, decision-making, conflict management, analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
License/Certifications
· BLS and/or ACLS, PALS and CPI if required for assigned area of practice.
· Nurse Executive (ANCC) or Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (AONE) or appropriate clinical/specialty certification preferred.
