Position Summary
Summary:
Provides appropriate social work services to patients admitted at the Outpatient Dialysis Center. Provides leadership and direction to the Medical Social Worker assigned to the OPD Center, is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives and policies of the Outpatient Dialysis Center and the Hospital.

Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from a school of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Prior experience in a health care setting or other relevant social work setting is preferred.
- New York State Certification in Social Work, (LMSW) Licensed Master Social Worker required.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker., preferred
