As a General Accountant you will join an international and fast-growing company and you will be part of a team dedicated to being true business partners to the customers and to the Motul Group.
What you will be doing
The General Accountant will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts, aiding in the production of monthly and annual financial entries, and supporting monthly financial reporting.
Some of the key responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis.
- Support external audit process.
- Backup coverage for accounts receivable and accounts payable. Maintaining and organizing accounting standard of procedures and files.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Business field- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system
- Ability to learn new software applications
Responsible for the payment collection and payment application.
Maintain accurate and timely bank reconciliation.
Assist in calculating monthly accruals and allocations.
Support month-end and year-end period closings.
Assist on Sales and Use, California Recycle, Motor Oil, etc. tax filings and reporting.
Providing support to Senior Accountant as required
