This role will deliver high quality, innovative and proven cost-effective methodologies to support company and department objectives. This role will interface and foster a collaborative environment with cross functional teams. You'll provides essential procurement and supplier expertise in the areas of strategic sourcing and category management with strong commercial and contractual experience.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and implement category strategy plans that benchmark market innovations and competitors, identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, drive cost savings, manage risk, improve safety, drive innovation, and ensure the continuous development of categories managed.

• Demonstrate subject matter expertise to structure commercial negotiations, agreements, SLA's, and total cost of ownership in ways that optimize expenditures, operating expenses, cash flow, and risk management (legal, data information security and privacy, and insurance) ensuring alignment with their business strategies.

• Identify innovative procurement solutions, facilitate implementation of change initiatives, and exert influence to improve business performance, provide cashable savings, and realize process efficiencies for the organization.

• Analyze industry dynamics, business requirements, and company data to identify, prioritize, and conduct sourcing initiatives such as RFx.

• Identify new or manage existing supplier business relationships, contractual negotiations and obligations, and periodic reviews.

• Leverage interpersonal skills to establish positive business relationships reinforcing Procurement engagement and participation in supplier related matters by collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, budgets, and challenges.

• Apply analytical and research skills to make data-driven recommendations and decisions.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Business.

• 10 years of Procurement category management, Finance or equivalent.

• Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM, MCIPS) is a plus.

• Prior management experience is a plus.
