WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to drive forklift trucks and floor cleaning/scrubbing equipment would be an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Garage Helper is responsible for general custodial duties in our Service Centre shop facility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Washing, sweeping and scrubbing buses.
• Detailing new and used buses, including waxing of interior floors
• Servicing bus restrooms
• Cleaning of offices, restrooms, shop floors and related custodial functions.
• Vehicle upholstery cleaning.
• General shop area custodial maintenance.
• Movement of parts within shop area (no movement of coaches).
• General outside lot and building custodial tasks.
• Assist other maintenance personnel with general (non-skilled) tasks.
