The Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of a variety of financial records. The responsibilities of this role include maintaining the financial records of the company through analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts, as well as preparing reports. To be successful, you should have a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a high-performing Accountant should be computer literate and have knowledge of key accounting competencies. The Staff Accountant role is hybrid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining records of assets and liabilities.
• Variance analysis and root cause commentary
• Updating accounts payable.
• Assisting in balancing sheets and income statements.
• Assisting with reviewing income and expenses.
• Preparing regular reports.
• Assisting with other accounting-related duties.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an associate degree in accounting, from an accredited institution.
• NetSuite knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact respectfully with people with diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
