The main purpose of this role is to provide a specialist facilitation that extracts and documents critical tacit knowledge from individuals, projects, mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

The extraction of knowledge is a key success to providing tangible value to the business e.g. improve decision-making, improve cost efficiency, and improve safety.

Contract Duration : 24 months

Required Skills & Experience

• Good command of English Spoken and Written. Fluency in other languages is an added benefit.
• People skills (see also below)
• Strong Communicator
• Strong workshop facilitation skills
• Interview techniques and ability to conduct technical interviews
• Strong report writing skills
• Ability to stimulate dialogue with difficult topics and generate learnings.
• Experience and patience with different cultures
• 5 years in Oil- and gas industry or in technical environment
• Can create a no-blame atmosphere in a room.
• Social skill, ability to bring a group together and control it without damaging it ? A manner of teaching which generates and uses the ideas and skills of the participants ?

Skill in noticing and resolving participants problems

• Enthusiasm for the subject and capacity to put it across in an interesting way ? Flexibility in responding to participants? changing needs
• Knowledge of the subject matter.

Daily Responsibilities

• Connect and act as hub in the wheel between customers to schedule and prepare successful interviews and workshops with the aim to identify customer needed information or capture learnings and valuable experiences.
• Identify knowledge needs and capture (project) experiences to learn from previous successes and failures through professional facilitation of (non)technical workshops with customer representatives.
• Conduct (non) technical interviews to capture organizational critical knowledge from experts or project management. By providing facilitation, to be closely involved with strategic direction setting for its delivery in the organization.
• Curate Knowledge Content / Reporting - Leverage KM enablers (People, Process and Technology) to accelerate decision making through delivery of critical insights (Standards & Guides and Learning)
• Provide Train the Trainer services Dimensions : - Organizational dimensions
• Ensure proper onboarding and a short time to autonomy for newly trained specialist facilitators
• Manage interfaces across organization boundaries and across functions
