Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our team. Our salespeople are responsible for outbound sales of household moving services. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales skills while being a part of the fastest growing and exciting moving services company in Sacramento. About 30% of the salesperson’s time will be fielding inbound leads generated by company marketing efforts, 30% will be developing their own pipeline through outbound marketing and building referral relationships. 40% of their time is spent actively following up with prospects and guiding them through the move process.
Responsibilities:
· Promptly respond to all inbound leads; establish in-person or virtual survey; present estimate and follow up with your pipeline.
· Outbound sales: actively pursue new household movers relationships through outreach to real estate agents, apartment communities, senior living facilities and other potential sources of referrals.
· Champion each facet of your registered orders from inception to completion.
· Interact with customers, sales, operations, administration, claims, and other departments to ensure the best possible customer experience via phone, email, video, or fax communication.
· Communicate results of each step in the process to all parties including the relocation administrator where so required by agreement or request.
· Set up customer profile in accordance with company policy. Confirm payment terms.
· Register orders as soon as possible, operations preference is 14 days prior to start date.
· Confirm project start and end date with customer and dispatch.
· Send customer check in email 3 days before the project starts. Email to confirm onsite contacts, start time, origin and destination address and scope of work.
· Serve as the primary liaison between each assigned account, the agency, the end user, and the van line.
· Responds promptly to potential service failures, interacts with all parties to obtain satisfactory solutions.
· Create lead and appointment log. List the appointment date, appointment type (HHG or Commercial), company name, contact name, phone number and email.
· Serve as customer advocate in all matters.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in consumer sales or a similar role is strongly preferred.
- Personal transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills..
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
