Service Technician 3

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers.
• Apply technical knowledge to research, develop, test and evaluate operations, support programs, modifications, repairs and technical data.
• Communicate design and operational issues and concerns with Engineering.
• Develop in-service correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate on accident investigation team or support team.
• Participate in disabled product on-site surveys to assess extent of damage.
• Adapt existing test procedures, oversees execution of test procedures and coordinates resolution of test anomalies to return products to operational status.
• Serve as a Ground Systems Electrical Technician support the hardware and software installation, integration, and test effort for the Launch Support System in Layton, UT, or the deployed sites in Ft. Greely, AK and VSFB, CA.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree combined with 3 years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Secret Clearance.
• Motivated, talented, and experienced Electrical Technicians.
• Communications, teamwork, attention to details.
• Test & Evaluation background, engineering education.
