Our 5-Star Memory Care Community located in Howard is looking for caregivers to join our team!
AM/PM/NOC positions available!
Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, per the individual service plan for each resident
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration.
-Promote resident dignity, independence and choice
-Respond to resident needs in a timely manner
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship to clients; develop a caring rapport with residents
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health in a timely manner.
- Follow policies for safety and infection control and demonstrate practices to control the spread of communicable disease
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality.
-Build positive relationships with co-workers
-Staff training responsibilities, as assigned
Experience:
- Record of good attendance
- Knowledge of Alzheimers and other forms of dementia
- CBRF Certifications; premium for active CNA certification
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs.
-Experience in Medication Administration a plus
