SUMMARY
Performs a range of operations on a variety of machines such as milling, drilling, bench lathe, surface grinder, saws, mills, etcher, tube deburring, presses, mechanical joint assembly, and a wide variety of hand held tools. Checks work using various measuring instruments; adjusts equipment, replaces tooling as needed, maintains quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint’s to determine how to set machine and perform the necessary calculations
- Monitor machine for irregularities
- Inspect finished product to ensure the product meets specifications outlined in blueprints, to maintain quality
- Adheres to all safety guidelines set by company, including maintaining a clean work area
- Operates other equipment in the area
