• Adhere to Company Safety Standards, including the proper use of machinery and equipment.
• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Load and unload materials.
• Follow instruction from crew foreman.
• Remove, fill, rake, compact and prepare the terrain.
• Install wattle, silt fence, and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
• Assist with the install of culverts and ditch work.
• Assist fellow crew members.
• Perform site clean-up and reload left over materials after the task of the day is complete.
• Give hand signals to operator.
• Be a spotter for equipment and/or vehicles.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned as needed. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physically able to walk, bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, wind and snow.
• Work long hours and weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background. 
  • Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
