Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Technician to join our team. As a GIS Technician, you will be responsible for data visualization, data management, and data analysis using various GIS software tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and CAD software, as well as strong project management skills. Responsibilities: - Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date GIS databases - Collect and analyze spatial data using GIS software - Assist in the development and implementation of GIS projects - Generate maps, charts, and reports to support project needs - Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and quality control - Conduct research to gather relevant geographic information for projects - Assist in the creation of geospatial models and workflows - Provide technical support to users of GIS software Experience: - Proficiency in ArcGIS software and other GIS tools - Strong data management skills, including data collection, organization, and analysis - Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software is preferred - Familiarity with APIs for data integration is a plus - Knowledge of project management principles and practices - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
