Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to the menu planning and recipes provided
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient meal preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to dietary department guidelines and restrictions
- Support the dietary aide in serving meals to residents

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and meal preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
