How would you like to be our Warranty Coordinator?

Your Role

As the Warranty/Purchasing Coordinator:

  • You’ll process work orders that require warranty filing with the vendors - via email, online submission, and physical forms.
  • You’ll keep data on all claims submitted and follow up on the aging credit report. What good is filing the claim if you don’t see the reward! $$$
  • You’ll interact with techs on meeting days to take inventory of the warranty tools turned in to be filed. Wear some comfy shoes!
  • You’ll scrap the warranty parts that do not need to be returned to the vendor as well as round up all the parts from cancelled jobs or parts not used on a job. Get ready to eat your spinach!
  • You’ll be a backup to purchasing to order parts, equipment, and stock. Our customers count on us to get their heating, cooling, and plumbing problems fixed as quickly as possible. We couldn’t do it without your help! After all, you’ll make sure we have all the parts we need to keep taking care of families across the Carolinas.
  • You’ll assist with the delivery and handout of tech builder tools. What good are the parts if our techs and plumbers can’t install them? It’s important that they have all the tools they need to get jobs done safely.
  • You’ll work with closely with the warehouse and accounting departments.

The Super-Fun HR Stuff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Purchasing/Warranty Coordinator:

  • At least (1) year of purchasing or warehouse experience and/or related education
  • Must be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and sometime stressful environment
  • Must have experience in computer data entry within databases, spreadsheets, and have the ability to enter data in “real time” quickly and accurately
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully and diplomatically diffuse contentious situations
  • Ability to recognize and establish priorities
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and provide an effective solution
  • High performance team player with a commitment to company values
  • Ability to maintain safe work practices and adhere to company safety standards
  • Ability to fluently speak, write, and read English language
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Be able to be on your feet, occasionally, all day and lift up to 50 pounds
  • This is an in-office position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for Purchasing/Warranty Coordinator:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in purchasing or related activities as a buyer, planner, procurement, warranty claims specialist or supply chain
