Responsibilities

As a Plumbing Trainee, you’ll:

  • You’ll provide excellent customer service while properly addressing customer concerns.
  • You’ll perform light plumbing duties, such as installing a garbage disposal or faucets.
  • You’ll clear drains from bathtubs, showers, and/or whole home sewer mains.

You'll Make Money... a Lot of Money

  • Plumbing is one of the highest paid trades in America! Not only that, but pay for plumbers is more consistent than pay for HVAC technicians, and the room for growth is even better! We have the best plumbers around, and we have the best pay around! Our Drain Techs can expect to make around $56,000 in their first year.

A Job You Can Be Proud Of

  • Morris-Jenkins is working on changing the view people have on tradesmen, and you could be a part of that! Being a plumber is something you can be proud of. Sewage leaks can lead to disease, and Carbon monoxide (CO) leaks can kill entire families without warning. As a plumber, you can detect these leaks before the damage is done—you can save lives.

All About YOU

  • You’re not afraid of things. Spiders, snakes, dirt, tight spaces, heights… These are just some of the challenges our technicians face! This isn’t for the faint of heart.
  • You’re competitive. You want a career with endless achievement opportunities. You set your personal bar high and you put your all into every project you do. There’s so much room for growth here—you’re gonna love it!
  • You’re good with your hands. You wouldn’t be happy at a desk all the time. You need a job that lets you play with tools and interesting equipment! You want a career that involves puzzles and problem-solving.
  • You’re good at making friends. You’ve never met a stranger you couldn’t talk to! You love talking to and getting to know new people, and nothing makes you happier than making someone’s day.
