Morris Heights Health Center is Hiring a Site Director Near Bronx, NY

Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) is looking for an enthusiatic Site Director to join the MHHC Family! The Site Director is responsible for leading the daily and administrative functions in an Urgent Care setting. The position provides direction and leadership to ensure Omega Health meets the goal of providing great patient care and improved population health. The Site Director must have excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. The Site Director must have knowledge of medical practices and experience working in a union environment. This role reports to Chief Business Officer.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation and coordination of patient care services.
  • Lead the clinic to improve patient, provider, and staff satisfaction.
  • Cross- collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Coordination with clinical leadership to identify indicators to measure, evaluate and improve care.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to ensure compliance with all clinical policies and training programs.
  • Develop a strong, collaborative relationship with the clinic leadership and other practices to improve continuity of care.
  • Responsible for recruitment, retention, performance reviews and professional development related to staff
  • Reviews and approves all monthly staff PTO and departmental schedules
  • Prepare operating budgets, including volume projections, and expense, and revenues estimates.
  • Managing purchasing requisitions and reconciliation of department budget.
  • Provide facility management/oversight as defined by clinic operations administration.
  • Evaluate clinic room utilization and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to create policies for Omega Health.
  • Participates on internal and external committees.
  • Cross-collaborate with the Marketing Department to increase business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Business Intelligence department to develop reports.
  • Coordinate with Revenue Cycle Department to address billing deficiencies. (Insurances, co-payments, demographics).
  • Submit reports and complete regulatory documentation as requested.
  • Articulates and presents data, information, and ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Job Scope:
The Site Director is responsible for the direction and leadership of center productivity and efficiency. The Site Director is also responsible for providing clear direction to achieve goals, creating an environment that fosters team commitment and employee engagement. The Site Director is responsible for managing all operations aspects of the Urgent Care Center.
