Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Escort clients to appointments or outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients
Experience:
- Proven experience and certification as a Personal Care Assistant or Caregiver is preferred
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy
