Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Front Office Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Front Office Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our doctor by managing front office operations, including answering patient calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and providing assistance to patients regarding treatment options.

This position reports directly to the Nurse or Doctor in charge.

Responsibilities :

• Answer patient inquiries and schedule appointments with professionalism and empathy.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Process payments, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate billing records.
• Provide administrative support, including maintaining patient files and handling medical records.
• Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse or Doctor in charge.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic understanding of medical procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.

Pay : $23-25 / hr
