Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical facility. Responsibilities: - Perform basic life support techniques and assist with emergency situations - Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations - Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers - Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, injections, and minor surgeries - Conduct X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologist - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and coordinating referrals - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred - Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology - Previous experience in a hospital or medical office setting is highly desirable - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service - Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Medical Assistants.
