Job Title : Provider Data Entry Specialist
Work Schedule : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM or 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM PST
Job Type : This is a temp-to-perm position
Pay : $21.00 per hour

Job Summary :
The Provider Data Entry Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information within the health plan system.
Essential Functions :
- Receive provider information from external sources for system updates.
- Analyze incoming data requests, applying knowledge and experience to validate the provided information.
- Accurately input and maintain provider records in the computer system with a focus on precision and timeliness.
- Conduct audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy, providing documented feedback as needed.
- Support system / health plan integration efforts.
- Provide training to existing staff and new hires when necessary.
- Assist in system-related testing activities.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry with an emphasis on timeliness.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Willingness and ability to learn internal systems, including QNXT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adherence to Molina's policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Reliable attendance based on agreed-upon schedule.
- Understanding and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Required Education : High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Required Experience : 1 years of managed care experience or medical office
