(3-7 years experience) - Boca Raton, FL
Our law is positioned as Florida's Premier Residential Construction Law Firm for Homeowners. We help homeowners before, during, and after their custom home builds and major home renovation projects go sideways in terms of time, money, and quality of work. This is a niche within the construction law niche that we are currently set to dominate through value-added services and creative billing models. The firm is on track for aggressive growth, and we need another experienced attorney to join our team.
Our competitive advantage is our service to clients, including our systems to monitor and control client communications. Our attorneys have the luxury of policies and procedures that control client care and communication so that you do not need to be worried about being interrupted by unscheduled texts and phone calls.
Our firm's culture affords you the opportunity to work in a fun, respectful workplace where our entire team is reliably accountable for meeting their goals. Plus, our billable hour requirements will let you enjoy life with your family and friends outside the office.
The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of litigation experience, with preference given to attorneys with previous residential construction law experience.
We have a lot of homeowner clients that we help "pre-suit" by assisting them through a stalled or abandoned construction project. Candidates with experience with these issues will be given a great opportunity to win this job.
We are looking for someone who can handle all aspects of legal services for the firm with minimal supervision but in conjunction with our excellent existing team of three attorneys, three paralegals, a Legal Production Coordinator, a Marketing Manager, and a Receptionist. We are growing fast, and we need an attorney who can hit the ground running. Your stellar work will permit the firm’s founder to focus on the projects that will supercharge the firm’s growth. Our firm offers a hybrid work environment that relies on your professionalism to help you stay productive even when working from home.
In this position, you will earn a base salary plus incentives based on originations and revenue collection. Total compensation will depend on achieving and exceeding your billable hour standards and goals. Strong consideration will be given to candidates who desire to originate clients, and have a demonstrated history of doing so. We also offer a suite of insurance benefits such as health, dental, vision, life, and long and short-term disability.
If you have ever wanted to watch and learn how a law firm is built from seven figures toward eight figures and beyond, this role will give you the opportunity to witness this first-hand. If this appeals to you, then you will definitely enjoy working with us.
When you apply, include a cover letter explaining what attracts you to this position. Submissions without a cover letter will not be considered.
Compensation:$110,000 - $165,000 yearly
