Morgan, Akins & Jackson is currently seeking an Associate Attorney for its General Liability practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with insurance defense litigation experience. We are a mid-size firm that services clients across 9 offices in the south and northeastern United States. Qualifications required:
- JD from an accredited Law School
- MUST BE ADMITTED to practice in the state in NEW JERSEY. Pennsylvania and New York are a plus.
- 3-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions and motion practice
- Superior written and oral communication skills required
- Legal project management experience is helpful
- Independently manage a litigation caseload
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and Examinations under Oath
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Salary between $90,000.00 - $130,000.00. Position is hybrid.
