Job Title: Tool Mold Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: $20-$39/hour, based on experience
Location: Edinburgh, IN

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on mold tools.
• Fitting and assembly of new tools and inserts.
• Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are ready to meet production schedules.
• Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures and equipment to result in more efficient operations.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment is maintained.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance.
• Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
• Ability to comprehend and retain technical verbal and written instructions.
• Must have a high school diploma, associate degree preferred.
• 5-7 years tool making, assembly, and fitting experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally move objects weighing in excess of 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk on a regular basis and occasionally climb, stoops, kneels, or crouch.
• Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.
