Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring that our organization complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves supporting quality inspection processes and maintaining compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

· Environmental and product sampling and preparation for lab in a scientific and timely manner.

· Prepare, review, and report Environmental results of analyses working with food safety manager and sanitation lead. (ATP, Micro Swabbing, Allergen etc.)

· Prepare, review, and report product lab results of analyses working with food safety manager and sales team.

· Responsible for MRL sampling program; Prepare MRL kits for field staff

· Maintain inventories on testing supplies.

· Assists in pest control (Building Fogging)

· Document and Maintain records in accordance with established procedures.

· Monitor sanitation program through environmental monitoring and visual inspection.

o Lead sanitation communicator

o Perform trainings

o Maintain Sanitation chemical and tools inventory

· Facilitate Allergen Program

· Facilitate Systems Approach Program.

· Assists in SSOP development.

· Bin and tote wash programs.

· Perform safety roles including calibration of equipment, ammonia diffusion tank pH testing, calibration of air monitors, SCBA tank checks etc.

· Assists in safety program development including SCBA, Confined Space, Pesticide Safety, Fall Protection, LOTO etc.

· Assists in farm training

· Cost analysis on department supplies

· Responsible for Housekeeping program

· Assists on any daily requests outside of scope

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Strong analytical skills to analyze data effectively
- Proficiency in data collection methods
- Experience in conducting quality audits and maintaining compliance records
- Understanding of HACCP principles for food safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
