Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing and serving beverages to guests
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase revenue
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems, such as Toast POS, for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
