PositionThe Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for invoicing and assisting with collections of all the outstanding accounts receivables for Mooring USA. In addition, they must resolve other customer billing issues to reduce the number of daily sales outstanding in accounts receivable (DSO). To accomplish the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential functions satisfactorily.
Essential Functions
- Process invoices and statements to customers in a timely manner.
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor customer account details for other irregularities.
- Communicate weekly with the Mooring team members regarding accounts and collections.
- Prepare required documents to secure lien rights for amounts owed to Mooring.
- Process and post customer payments.
- Assist in other areas as needed, such as Large Loss events.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or 2-5 years equivalent in AR and/or collection experience
- Acumatica ERP experience a plus
- Training in industry standards and procedures
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction
