  • Experience with Project Management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC methodologies)
  • Experience with acquisition implementation is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Business Administration/related field required
  • Project Management (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Experience with large scale implementation and financial system experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders across multiple business disciplines including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Manufacturing and HR to deliver IT projects that meet the business needs and requirements
  • Lead IT implementation, optimization, and/or integration projects from initiation to completion
  • Manage IT project lifecycle through all phases: requirements definition, build/config, test, implement/deploy and training
  • Own project scope, workplan, risk management, communications, and deliverables
  • Own project status updates to business and executive team
  • Assist Business Owners in defining use cases and requirements
  • Facilitate current and future state process mappings to identify functional gaps, reduce risk, and identify resource requirements
  • Prepare test plans and test scripts, and coordinate UAT and issue/bug tracking
  • Create documentation for end user training and support
  • Proactively capture, mitigate and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices in the PMO office executing and delivery of projects

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale projects
  • Strong project management acumen and familiar with core functions, controls, and global/GAAP standards
  • Strong customer service skills. Focused on client’s objectives and attentive to the needs of users
  • Previous experience with financial systems
  • Cross-functional facilitation skills to proactively drive decisions and advocate for change
  • Business Process Mapping, Business Problem Analysis, Requirements Definition and leading Regression and User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience applying standard Project Management frameworks and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall etc.)
  • Comfortable in a high-growth and fast-paced environment and leading change

The Moore IT Project Manager will be responsible for delivering successful projects which meet the business requirements and enable the successful implementation of key initiatives driving the strategic vision of the enterprise. The role will facilitate the definition of project goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within the functional areas; and develop methods to monitor progress of project or area. The position will be a key member in the Project Management Office and contribute to the ongoing evolution and development of best practices in the group. The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for developing a project plan, assigning tasks / activities to project team members, and monitoring tasks to completion.
