$80,000 - $120,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Understands all client policies and procedures and conducts all firm business within those guidelines.
  • Researches and understands laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court rules and regulations, including industry trends and conducts all firm business within those guidelines.
  • Prepares cases attends court hearing, conference calls, consulting client witnesses; completing discovery process; developing case and testimony; completing filings, motions, and submissions; supervising paralegal.
  • Manages cases by monitoring schedules; expediting requirements; obtaining and forwarding information.
  • Supports firm and clients by initiating and maintaining open communications; and keeping firm informed of any issues with workflow or policy changes, etc.
  • Maintains cost standards by monitoring expenses; recommending cost-saving opportunities.
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in continuing educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • JD from an ABA school required. Admitted to the practice in the State of California.
  • Must possess superior analytical skills and have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of litigation process from suit filing through and including judgment enforcement is a must.
  • Experience in creditor’s rights law is a plus.
  • Must be a team player with a great attitude and willingness to learn is essential to this role.
  • Must be located in California.
