Duties:

  • Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are fully stocked and equipped for patient visits.
  • Assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and performing routine laboratory tests.
  • Documenting patient medical history, symptoms, and other pertinent information accurately and concisely in electronic medical records.
  • Administering medications, injections, or treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Coordinating patient referrals and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Providing patients with educational materials and assisting them in understanding their medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Adhering to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office equipment.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Current CPR certification.
