Data Support Specialist I, Department of Human Capital Management, 8hrs / 12mos, Ad closes 04-04-24
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Will work with staffing teams as well as Human Capital Management projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Requires knowledge of standard database technologies and their use in workforce reporting; skills in evaluating and executing workforce data reports and to support staff in the use of technology. Knowledge of programming languages, tools, and database management software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access, Visual Basic, Oracle (or other relational database), Discoverer (or other SQL-based query language), and Visio. Must be extremely detail-oriented and accurate in the preparation of workforce reports; must be able to learn and apply new technological solutions as they become available.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in computer science or certificate from an accredited computer programming school providing over 500 hours of computer training in data and information processing. Considerable experience with MS/Office products, SQL (Structured Query Language), in-depth knowledge of Crystal Reports, Oracle Discoverer or other reporting tools. Working knowledge of the Lawson HRIS or other HRIS; experience reporting human resources workforce information preferred. Combination of appropriate education and experience will also be considered.
