Montgomery County Public Schools is Hiring an ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY-PART TIME Near Montgomery, AL

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regular and punctual attendance required.
  • Performs various clerical, secretarial and office support for the department.
  • May perform fund accounting, bookkeeping and payroll tasks
  • Log, scan and upload requisitions, ClassWallets, Detached Duties, Reimbursements
  • Types a variety of routine and complex documents, requisitions, Time & Effort, reports, forms and correspondence
  • Creates and maintains files, inventories, and other records
  • Operates various types of office equipment such as copiers, fax, scanners, etc
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive data and information pertaining to individual personnel and/or overall program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D, or sufficient education, training and experience to demonstrate ability to perform duties
  • Experience in clerical, secretarial, or similar office positions is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer systems, associated software and word processing is required
  • Ability to create documents, forms, spreadsheets, etc., is required
  • Experience effectively working with the public is desirable
  • Backgroup clearance from FBI and ABI processes
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
