This is a 32 hour/week position for a sonographer. Education: Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible (Abd. & OB/Gyn)(RVT preferred) Experience preferred but not necessary. Job knowledge: Must be able to type accurately, must be able to read, write and speak the English language and understand medical terminology, displays a working knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and related laboratory values knowledge to appropriate completion of all sonography procedures, basic understanding of examinations performed by Radiology services, performs quality exams, assists physicians, positions patients appropriately for requested exam, reviews each exam for technical accuracy.
