Montgomery County Government is Hiring a County Government Aide (Undercover Volunteers), Grade S1 Near Gaithersburg, MD

Must be at least the age of 18 and no older than 20 years to apply for this position.

The hourly rate for this seasonal/temporary position is $16.70 per hour.

Selected candidates are required to complete a physical exam and drug screening, and department provided training.

Candidates with access to a vehicle or transportation are preferred.

ABOUT US

The Licensure, Regulation and Education Division, is recruiting for part-time temporary seasonal County Government Aides (CGA) to assist with underage alcohol and tobacco compliance inspections throughout the County.

In collaboration with the Police Department, the County Government Aides will assist the Alcohol Tobacco Enforcement Specialists by attempting to purchase alcohol and/or tobacco products from licensed facilities and provide witness testimony in court and/or Liquor Board hearings.

The CGA will accompany the Compliance Check Team, and travel to multiple sites throughout the County and be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
