Preschool Teacher Assistant

We are hiring two full-time or part-time Preschool Teachers to join our friendly staff. Our business hours are 7:45-5:15, Monday through Friday year round.

Montessori Children’s House is a privately owned Preschool in Bozeman, MT., located very close to MSU, with 3 age-separated classrooms for children ages 6 weeks to 3½ years. You would be working with the head-teacher and one other teacher assistant in the classroom.

Our sunlit classrooms, equipped with Montessori material, the generous outdoor space as well as our cooperative teacher teams and the supportive administration make Montessori Children’s House a great place to work.

Qualifications:

• A friendly nature, patience and love for young children
• Experience caring for young children
• Interested in the Montessori Method
• Flexible and open-minded
• Enjoy working in a child care team
• Knowledge of best practices as well as the ability to engage young children and earn their trust
• Communication and listening skills to converse with children, fellow preschool teachers and parents or guardians
• Will pass a background check

Performance:

• Maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children.
• Performing creative and educational activities
• Preparing and feeding snacks and lunches
• Maintaining a clean environment for small children
• Demonstrating a compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children

Pay: Starting at $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. You will receive your first raise after the completion of the initial training.
