The Senior Clerk Surgery performs all the functions of medical billing, from charge entry to accounts receivable resolution, in EPIC.

Tasks include verification of insurance coverages, updating patient demographic and

Insurance information, resolution of charge review and claim edits and dynamic follow-up on un-adjudicated and denied claims until complete resolution.

Education / skills required :

• High school Diploma / GED coupled with two (2) year work experience required : Associates degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and billing required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / word / Outlook required
