Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Skilled Manufacturing Associate for a well-established manufacturing company specialized in building materials in Westport, MA.
The ideal candidate will have a skilled manufacturing background including previous machine operation and mechanical experience. The chosen worker will oversee manufacturing activities within their departments. They work alongside others in the physical day to day labor, assist their teams to complete orders, and prepare reports. Great attendance and a hard work ethic is a must.
Shift schedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pm, M-F
Payrate: $18.00/HR
Responsibilities of a Skilled Manufacturing Associate
- Assist assembly line workers and operate machines to complete orders
- Oversee production and order completion.
- Help team members and assist in any extra training needed.
- Pack Orders as needed.
- Performs operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instruction.
- Monitor workflow to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing and machine Operator experience is required
- Mechanical experience preferred
- Desire to learn a new trade.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Punctuality and attendance is required
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Good with hand tools and machinery
- Must be able to multi-task
- Previous supervisory and lead experience is a plus
