Date Available:
06/17/2024 Monona Grove School District has openings for Elementary Summer School Teachers at the Elementary Schools (Granite Ridge School located in Cottage Grove, and Winnequah School in Monona). Positions begin June 17, 2024, and ends July 12, 2024.
Class times are 8 am to 12pm, times may vary slightly based on location and needs. There will be no classes June 19 and July 4-5, 2024. Required training and class set up will take place one day during the week prior to the start of classes.
Essential Role Responsibilities:

• Develop hands-on lesson plans and instructional materials to provide an engaging summer enrichment experience.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Establish and maintain rapport with pupils to ensure an effective learning atmosphere.
• Establish a safe and positive learning environment.
• Effectively communicate with parents, students, and staff.
• Work in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors.

• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Successful teaching experience and demonstrated teacher leadership.

• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, administrators, and parents.
• Ability to work positively and productively as an active member of a vibrant teaching team.
• Knowledge of and experience with Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS).
• Experience working with diverse learners and supporting culturally responsive practices.

License Requirement:

• Valid WI Department of Public Instruction license
  • Appropriate Grade Level
