09/05/2022 Monona Grove School District: Monona Grove School District has an opening for a Girls Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach. Position from approximately November 7, 2022 to March 10, 2022.
Overview:
The Monona Grove School District is seeking a qualified Girls Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach for the Winter 2022-23 season.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce district academic standards and policies.
• Practice and promote positive interaction with and among student-athletes, the school and community.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to implement effective coaching theory, strategies, and techniques appropriate for high school athletes.
• Positively motivate student athletes to instill commitment, discipline, and teamwork.
• Supervise players at practices, games, or any time they are representing the district basketball program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience in coaching required.
• Experience in coaching basketball preferred.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of basketball in both practice drills and play strategies preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to contribute in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work with high school aged students.

License Requirement:

• Certified Teaching License and/or ASEP/CNLT Certification.

Additional License(s):

• First Aid / CPR Certification required by the 2022-23 school year.
