Our Core Technology Shift Leads play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of maintenance of Monolith’s core technology equipment while collaborating with various departments to advance our state-of-the-art process.

As a Core Technology Shift Lead (CTSL), you are responsible for directing and overseeing specialized maintenance and repairs of the core technology equipment at Monolith’s Olive Creek 1 Plant (OC1). You will oversee subcontractors and assist in the field maintenance activities by following detailed work procedures, making decisions on repair scopes, ensuring procedure adherence and quality of repairs, and accurate data entry.

  • You have a technical degree and 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment and the following disciplines: Machining, QAQC, Inspection, Non-destructive Testing, Precision Maintenance
  • Forklift certification
  • Overhead Crane experience
  • Prior experience troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Experience with inventory management software strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and varied indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Proficient speaking and reading English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule between days and nights
What you'll do in the role:
  • Provide technical supervision of various maintenance activities for Core-Technology equipment. 
  • Execute maintenance procedures and lead field work done by the maintenance team to integrate our CT reactor technology. Such as water-cooled parts subject to extreme temperatures, megawatt-scale arc heating systems, high-temperature furnace systems, solid carbon conveying systems 
  • Work with teams of subcontractors to ensure maintenance and repairs of Core Technology equipment are followed to a high degree of accuracy and quality. 
  • Collect, analyze, record, and report data gathered through inspection and/or testing. 
  • Utilize various instruments such as meters, scanners, calipers, micrometers, etc. to record data. 
  • Ensure proper documentation is received and followed.
  • Participate in failure investigations and communicate with the engineering team for recommendations.
  • Provide timely communication of any significant issues or developments. 
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Position is located in Hallam, NE. Work will be performed within an outdoor operating plant and open office environment.
