Description

DESCRIPTION

Monogram Foods is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the FP&A team. Under general supervision, this role will be responsible for providing financial expertise across a wide range of activities including; gathering and validating data, organizing information, analyzing historical results, forecasting, making recommendations, and generating financial models, presentations, and reports. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and flexible, with the ability to balance their work to meet near-term deliverables while also making progress toward longer-term project goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
  • Produce monthly reports, key metrics and performance indicators, financial results, and variance reporting to aid in decision making.
  • Develop and maintain financial modeling to track against targets and project goals.
  • Ability to manipulate and condense large volumes of data into succinct and powerful visualizations.
  • Clearly convey the key insights the data reveals in a visual format that easily understood.
  • Collaborate with end users to interpret data results and analyze potential impact to the business.
  • Promote winning culture through focus on corporate values and productive partnerships within department and across all other business functions.
  • Maintain data repositories for executive reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across the organization to develop and enhance financial reporting processes based on leadership and/or end-user requirements.

The ideal candidate will have the following:


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field and five (5) years of strong experience in inventory and costing for a manufacturing environment and other general ledger accounting related work.
  • FP&A experience in manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  •  Power BI experience preferred. 

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Practical knowledge of plant and cost accounting and general ledger accounting in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. 
  • Ability to develop and lead projects to support process improvement and reporting solutions.
  • Proven skill in multitasking in a fast-paced environment, time management capabilities, and the ability to meet specific deadlines.
  • Possess critical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate impact.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and research problems of a complex nature and make recommendations.
  • Ability to excise sound, independent judgment in carrying out functions of the position.
  • Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem solving and completing tasks. 
  • Ability to build and maintain reports detailing daily, weekly and monthly forecasting and other financial activities.
