This role is located on-site 4 days a week at our new headquarters in Chelsea, NYC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the arbiter for all things People data, reporting, and analytics at MoneyLion
  • Leveraging data as your superpower, recommend initiatives, system changes, process improvements and produce insights that lead to data-driven talent decisions
  • Prepare presentations that communicate results and actionable recommendations to senior leaders and the People team using storytelling techniques and visualizations
  • Dive deep into our People data by manipulating, integrating, and transforming data to determine trends and test hypotheses. Interpret results, including identifying anomalies, issues for further investigation, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Be the product owner of a suite of People dashboards that provide quick and easy access to key People metrics, KPIs, and trends
  • Create advanced forecasting models to analyze and optimize compensation data, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
  • Develop and implement governance and standards for reporting and analytics including SOPs, data dictionaries, and standardized templates
  • Audit and improve data integrity and quality in source systems to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities

About You

  • At least 5 years of experience in a People Analytics, Operations, Compensation and/or Data role, preferably in the finance and/or technology industry
  • 3 years of experience working with data and advanced analytics - Excel, R, SQL (R & Python preferred, not required)
  • 4 years producing dashboards and insights
  • Expert in using Excel and Google Sheets to manage large data sets and produce complex reporting
  • Proficiency in data visualization and data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., PowerBI, SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
  • Strong understanding of business concepts and HR practices; ability to integrate internal people data with cross-functional data (finance, sales, etc.) for deeper insight generation
  • Adaptability to navigate and derive insights from incomplete data, imperfect processes, and limited technology
  • Ability to thrive autonomously, without prescribed direction, in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of leading people projects that drive business success.
  • Preferred, but not required: experience with ADP Workforce Now, Greenhouse, and Charthop
