Job Title: Revenue Operations Associate 

Location: Washington, D.C.; Hybrid after introductory period 

Status: Full-time; Exempt 

Reports to: Head of Revenue Operations 

Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Operations Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Revenue Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our revenue growth strategies by analyzing and optimizing our sales processes, streamlining operations, and providing crucial insights to our sales and finance teams. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure the smooth execution of our Revenue Operations initiatives. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a passion for driving results, and a desire to contribute to the success of our organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales analyses, reports, dashboards, and metrics to highlight trends, opportunities, and challenges for the sales and executive teams. 

  • Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to Sales managers and representatives to assist in achieving revenue targets. 

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to operationalize the strategies and tactics that maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Create and manage Revenue Operations documentation and knowledge library in the company intranet (Confluence).

  • Provide regular and ad hoc training and support to Sales personnel on revenue operations processes and reporting.

  • Serve as a liaison in a cross functional environment to ensure cohesiveness in areas including Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources.

  • Support the implementation and utilization of sales technology tools, such as CRM systems and Sales Commission Software. 

  • Assist in developing and documenting sales policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization. 

  • Assist in the day-to-day triaging and resolution of data issues. Escalate as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. 

  • 2 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, finance, or a related field. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Advanced understanding of MS Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and macros. 

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.

  • Understanding of CRM systems, such as Salesforce. 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
