Monad is Hiring a Working Electrical Foreman Near Aurora, CO

Position Description:
Location: Colorado, Wyoming (Primarily Wyoming).
Salary: $43-$50/hr with $120 per diem days worked.

Qualifications:
  • Current Journeyman's license in Wyoming or Colorado or be willing to reciprocate.
  • Ability to develop a bill of materials and manage material stock.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Be willing to travel 75% of the time.
  • Adept in maintaining thorough and accurate records through the utilization of an app-based system, a fundamental requirement for the position.

Duties to include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications, industry standards, and local/ national codes.
  • Abide by NEC codes and regulations.
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit and cable.
  • Connects wiring to industrial devices and power equipment.
  • Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
  • Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
  • Ability to manage small crews of apprentices.

Safety Qualifications/Certifications:
  • OSHA 10 hours or greater - required.
  • MSHA - encouraged.
  • PEC Safeland - required.
  • Forklift and aerial lift equipment certifications - required.

Pre-Employment:
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening along with random testing administered quarterly.
  • Potential employees must be insurable and hold a valid drivers license with experience towing trailers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Electrical Systems and Standards: - Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and all relevant standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA regulations). Safety Protocols - Knowledge of safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Blueprint Reading and Interpretation - Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Project Management Principles - Familiarity with project management basics, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Electrical Equipment - Knowledge of various electrical equipment, tools, and machinery, including their operation and maintenance. Local, State, and Federal Electrical Codes - Understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations. Leadership and Supervision - Ability to lead and supervise a team of electricians, including delegation, motivation, and performance management. Problem-Solving - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear instructions, reports, and team coordination. Time Management - Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met without compromising quality or safety. Technical Proficiency - Skilled in the use of tools and technology relevant to electrical work. Physical Fitness - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Adaptability - Ability to adapt to changing environments and project requirements. Decision Making - Capability to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently under pressure. Risk Assessment - Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with electrical work. Team Collaboration - Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.
