Position: Industrial Project Estimator & Manager Location: Colorado, Wyoming Salary: $52-55 Here’s what you will be doing Prepare accurate project estimates in a timely manner. Job Requirements include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Attend job site visits and pre-tender construction walks.
Review and evaluate RFQ packets and produce thoughtful and concise RFI’s.
Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and be consistent with specifications, industry standards, and local/ national codes.
Review specifications and drawings to determine the total scope of work and associated costs including indirect costs, while understanding the value in proper coding.
Ability to read and interpret engineered drawing packages and NavisWorks models.
Develop accurate project estimations including man-hours, equipment breakdown, and bill-of-materials.
Utilize estimation software to develop accurate project estimates.
Work on time-sensitive projects, with most of the work driven by deadlines.
Work with Vendors and Equipment Rentals on pricing and availability.
Work closely with the operations manager and project management, identifying project details essential for operations success.
Proficiently interpret NEC, NFPA70E, and API500; building the project estimates with the appropriate materials and specifications.
Tracking project costs and ensuring the accuracy of the executed estimate

Current Journeyman License in Colorado or Wyoming
Experience:
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with ELECTRICAL project estimation.
Experience with industrial facilities including oil and gas production, refineries, food and beverage, water/wastewater, and municipalities.
Software: Candidate should have a working knowledge of Trimble Accubid Platforms
Pre-Employment: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening along with random testing administered quarterly. Potential employees must be insurable and hold a valid driver’s license.
Education and/or Experience:
Four-year program certificate; or two years associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Safety Qualifications/Certifications:
OSHA 10 hours or greater.
MSHA (encouraged).
PEC Safeland (encouraged).
