Position Description: Empower Your Career as an Industrial Apprentice Electrician Year 4!
Are you an ambitious Electrician Apprentice looking to advance your career? Monad, a premier provider of heat trace and insulation solutions, is expanding its team and offering an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Apprentice Electrician Year 4.
Location: Colorado, Wyoming ($120 Per Diem Days Worked)
Salary: ($32-37/hr) DOE
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Apprentice 4th Year:
6,000 Hrs. Field Experience.
450 Hours Classroom.
Ability to work on all electrical equipment and systems.
Ability to read/interpret technical electrical manuals and schematics.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve electrical issues.
Ability to train and communicate project scope.
Clear understanding of NEC electrical code.
Heres what you will be doing:
As an Electrician Apprentice, you will complete both hands-on projects on job sites and coursework in a classroom setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage in hands-on projects on job sites and participate in coursework in a classroom setting.
Learn from a Journeyman Electrician and complete all assigned duties.
Install heat trace components and insulation.
Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with electrical repairs.
Order replacement parts and equipment as needed.
Complete electrical installations and various maintenance duties.
Communicate with clients in a professional, courteous manner.
Collaborate with other trades, companies, and crew members.
Prepare and clean work areas.
Carry and deliver materials.
Use measuring equipment and hand tools for conduit work.
Follow safety codes and building regulations.
Be willing to travel 75% of the time.
Pre-Employment:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening along with random testing administered quarterly.
Potential employees must be insurable and hold a valid drivers license with experience towing trailers.
Safety Qualifications/Certifications:
OSHA 10 hours or greater.
MSHA (encouraged).
PEC Safeland (encouraged).
Forklift Equipment Certification.
Aerial Lift Equipment Certification.
