We are looking for someone who loves to bake and loves to serve people to assist in the preparation, decoration and selling of the best cheesecakes period. We are looking for people who are not afraid to work hard with limited supervision. This is a PART-TIME position 10-20 hours per week. We close at 8 pm on weekdays and 9:30 pm on Friday/Saturday. We specialize in Cheesecakes and only cheesecakes. We have over 70 flavors and we keep adding more. Baker responsibilities include crust preparation, making sauces, baking, and decorating. To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for baking and be able to decorate cakes using creative techniques. Responsibilities

• Help customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Decorate cakes with toppings and whipped cream
• Measure ingredients to prepare crusts
• Bake different types of crusts
• Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
• Mix various ingredients to create toppings for cheesecakes (e.g. chocolate ganache, caramel, fruit sauces)
• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
• Close the shop at night
• Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g. gluten-free)
• Track food supplies and place orders, as needed

Skills

• Excellent customer service

• Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role is a plus
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Experience with cake decoration techniques is a plus
